CONGRATULATION!!! ATLANTA FALCONS on a great season
Monday, January 12th, 2009The Atlanta Falcons had a great season! An Eleven and five team in the NFL is pretty special. Early in the season I could see a great combination in the running backs. A coach who was willing to run the football, throw a few safety vales and dump off to the running backs and most importantly on occasionally run wide. I quickly realize our rookie quarterback was an accurate passer with a strong arm. Additionally he was capable are making good decision during the games. This along with a defense that was playing well and the overall team motivation made the sky the limit for the newly form Atlanta Falcons.
Atlanta didn’t play their best game in the playoff against Arizona but they played well. There no need to mention how close or what may have happen differently. However I will comment on the remaining playoff games. I don’t have a dislike for Arizona but this is a team that will be completely dominated on defense and offense in their Playoff game against Philly. It’s a mystery to me how Arizona got away with anticipating the snap count and a couple of off sides that affected the outcome of the Atlanta game. Arizona great defenses play allowed them to defeat Atlanta and Carolina. Their defenses play has been viewed by everyone now and will not work against the Eagles. If Arizona falls behind early it will be a disaster for them, the Philly defense will have a field day on Kurt Warner.
The Steelers and the Ravens both have great defenses and very good quarterback play on offense. We can all look forward to some great defenses play, however the outcome will come down to which quarterback can best extend the pass plays. This advantage will go to the Steelers with big Ben Roethlisberger successfully extending many pass plays.
In the expected Super Bowl match up; Eagles versus Steelers both teams have a very good offense and defense and play well on both sides of the ball. These two team or somewhat evenly matched and the advantage will go to the team with the best quarterback play. This advantage will go to Philly with Donovan McNabb having a great game.
A Super Bowl win by Donovan will clearly place him among the Elite quarterbacks of the NFL. Way to go Donovan!!!
